Our vision is to build a self-sustaining, world-class Greenspace resource that is internationally recognized as a model for a community-based organization providing excellence in education, programming and service solutions to address the healthy lifestyle needs of youth, adults and seniors.
Wonderland is firmly committed to the core principles of sustainable living such as recycling, organic gardening and composting. In constructing the Wonderland Gardens’ campus, we utilized 100,000 lbs. of recycled concrete or “re-crete” as retaining walls, incorporated 3,600 recycled tires in 1.5 miles of the Wondertrail jog/walk path, and ensured that 87,000 recycled milk jugs and plastic bags were used to create tables, staging and seating.
